I spent the past week at the C2 Montreal conference. I’ll spend the coming week sharing what I learned on LinkedIn.

There was a lot of conversation around responsibly developing AI tools and how AI skills are essential to the future of work. (Many of you regularly use AI in your professional work right now!) And I had a fantastic braindate — talking about self directed learning with folks who have founded or work at nonprofits and companies.

This newsletter’s roles are a little lighter than normal. Every week, I share 10-20% of the roles I curate for free — this week is on the lower end of that range whereas I typically share 15-20%. This week, I didn’t have a lot of time between sessions to do the added work I do of writing summaries and finding the best mix of roles (curating the curated roles!). But there are still some exciting roles to discover.

Bellwether is hiring a Partner, Policy with 15+ years of senior leadership experience and a broad network of senior leaders (edtech, educational, state level). The Partner will serve as a consultant and thought partner to clients and funders, guide the coaching and learning team, and build new partnership relationships. $$225-270k +$35k bonus (up to 20-30% travel)

The Course Design Lead will manage the course design process, facilitating educational innovation and evidence-based teaching practices by creating frameworks and monitoring usage patterns and customer feedback to revise courses. $80-95k (up to 10% travel)

TRAINING/LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

WGU is hiring a Learning Resource Curator-School of Education with deep knowledge of p-12 educational trends and technologies. The Curator will develop and maintain a comprehensive collection of learning resources and collaborate with schools to curate tailored collections aligned with their program objectives and student needs. $47-71k

D2L is hiring an Education Partner Consultant with 3-5 years experience managing external partnerships and experience in higher ed. The Consultant will support the the sales team in identifying, securing and growing partnerships US-based training and development organizations. $80-95k

CodePath.org is hiring a Senior Manager, Community Engagement who has 3-5 managing higher education student engagement/retention programs. The Senior Manager will create a vibrant student community, including developing an overall engagement strategy including events and student leadership opportunities and other community building activities. $$100-125k

The College Board is hiring a Senior Director, Engagement Strategy with 7+ years experience in communications, sales, and/or training. The Director will develop and maintain a comprehensive messaging strategy for their SAT Suite of Assessments, collaborate with internal marketing teams to refine communications, and analyze feedback for product teams. $108-160k (up to 20% travel)
