Skip's Edtech Jobs: November 10, 2023

Thank you for reading the EdSkipper, Skip’s newsletter about skipping from education to education-aligned careers. Every Saturday, I send out a list of curated remote jobs. Premium subscribers receive two additional emails a month with industry insights and advice to help you apply more competitively to the jobs you’re passionate about.

Last week’s poll results pretty much lined up with what I’ve been experiencing sourcing jobs: by a 2:1 margin, readers are finding fewer jobs to apply to.

But yesterday when I was sourcing, I suddenly had a plethora of jobs. Those 100+ companies I checked last week and only found 20-30 jobs that were looking for education backgrounds? This week I found twice as many!

What a difference a week makes.

The conventional wisdom, of course, is that companies slow down their hiring to accommodate holidays and the challenges of scheduling both interviews and candidate review sessions.

It’s too soon to tell, of course, but it was nice to see so many interesting jobs show up in my browser tabs.

~I hope you find some fantastic jobs to apply to this weekend,
Chelsea
