Skip's Edtech Jobs: December 9, 2023

Thank you for reading the EdSkipper, Skip’s newsletter about skipping from education to education-aligned careers. Every Saturday, I send out a list of curated remote jobs. Premium subscribers receive two additional emails a month with industry insights and advice to help you apply more competitively to the jobs you’re passionate about.

I’m getting into a rhythm of searching job boards, identifying the ones that are likely to have jobs each week as well as the ones that may not hire frequently but when they do, they post great jobs.

Last week and this week I searched the same job boards — and today I found 49 new jobs that weren’t there last week! I did find a few new companies but overall I’m searching the same places every week.

What does that mean?

Too soon to say but I’m hoping it means that hiring is picking up.

~I hope you find some fantastic jobs to apply to this weekend,

Last Week’s Poll Results:

Last week I asked if folks have hired any professional help for your edskip. I was actually surprised by the results — I expected diy-ing it to be big but I also didn’t expect as many people to have hired resume writers. No one specifically recommended their resume writer, alas. (If anyone can recommend some good ones, I’m all ears. I don’t offer that service but do have a lot of people who ask me about it. At the moment, I feel like my list is basically full of folks I can’t recommend based on samples I’ve seen or their LinkedIn content.)

FULL-TIME JOBS

The early part of the week was slow for sourcing jobs, so these are all the jobs I shared this week. There are a number of jobs still available from previous weeks — see all the remote jobs.
